Driving autonomous driving in the logistics industry, the real endogenous power comes from the reduction in TCO (full life cycle cost) and a significant increase in operational efficiency and safety.


In the current TCO composition of the logistics industry and the fleet, fuel consumption and labor costs account for nearly 60%. In comparison, equipment costs account for only 7%. However, the realization of autonomous driving will achieve a 3%-5% increase in TCO cost and a significant improvement in safety performance through a positive change in driving behavior and a significant reduction in manual intervention, which will help the fleet and the entire logistics industry to achieve a reduction in costs. effect.


I believe that in the next 3-5 years, with the evolution of technology and algorithms and the gradual maturity of the industrial chain, autonomous driving will gradually land in the logistics industry. As a deep-growing logistics industry, the G7 will continue to focus on the intelligentization of logistics equipment and help this traditional industry to achieve another upgrade and transformation.
